Hey everyone, this is a quick post to let you know about a friend who needs your help. Recently our friend Karlyn Alderson found out she has cancer. Again.
She’s beaten this beast before, but this time things are a bit different. Due to complications with insurance and trouble with the new healthcare site, Karlyn currently has no health insurance to cover the insane costs of her treatment.
Karlyn is running an indiegogo campaign to help raise money for her treatments. She’s not just asking for a handout, though. Karlyn is a musician and is has several reward levels on her campaign where you can get something in return.
Here’s the link you need: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/single-mom-and-indie-artist-wants-to-beat-cancer
With your help, we can all help Karlyn beat cancer again.

Hey everyone, we’re giving away a brand new iPad Mini! I’m sure you’re thinking “Sounds great, but what do I need to do to qualify?” Well, that’s a good question. All you need to do is create an account here on 5minuteguide.net and share some video tutorials between September 1st and 30th. Depending on how many videos you post, you can multiply your total number of entries (see below).
1 video = 1 entry
2 videos = 3 entries
3 videos = 6 entries
4 videos = 10 entries
5 videos = 15 entires
What if you post more than 15 videos? We’ll multiply the number of posts by 3 to get your total number of entries. So let’s say you’ve posted 60 videos, you’ll have 180 chances at winning the iPad, pretty sweet, eh?
There are a few, uh, provisos. Ah, a couple of quid pro quo. Here we go:
That’s pretty much it. If you win we’ll contact you with the email address that you used to register on this site. GOOD LUCK!
*Update*
There’s a good chance this contest could be on contestbee.com! Go take a look at some of the other epic things you can win… like free rent!? Unless of course we win it first ;-).

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new website! We’re taking what we’ve done on YouTube and opening up to you!
5 Minute Guide is now for both people who have questions and people who have answers! Our goal is to create a resource for finding clear answers to questions.
Excellent! You are welcome to create an account and share as many tutorials as you’d like. We’re not a YouTube network, so we don’t want anything to do with your earnings — that’s your money and you should keep it all. We want to help you get traffic and subscribers, not steal all your money. We do ask that you follow some basic — and we really mean basic — guidelines when sharing your videos. It’s super simple, so click here to become a tutor.
Perfect! Use the search bar, or browse through the categories (hint: click ‘categories’ at the top and a pile of options will slide down). If you can’t find an answer to your question please check the forum. Here you can post questions and other users will try to get you answers, and even link to other tutorials that might help you.
Knowledge shouldn’t be hard to come by. Let’s make this place an incredible store of information, tips, tricks, and tutorials.
